An Educational Resource in a Board Game
The Truth in Truth and Reconciliation Board Game was created in May 2017 as a resource to help Teachers teach about the Truth in Truth and Reconciliation. This is the only Copy left in the Galaxy – as far as I know. I have begun a fundraiser via GoFundme to raise $100,000 dollars to print 2,000 copies of the Game and the “Genuine Indian Guide” book that will be distributed to schools all across Canada by 30 September 2023. The Truth in Truth and Reconciliation Game has been on exhibit in Galleries and has been played by hundreds of people and they all say the same thing- it’s time for something like this.
In 2016, I was a high school indigenous language teacher, and the teachers union provided the opportunity to design an activity to teach other teachers about the truth in Truth and Reconciliation.
The “Truth” in Truth and Reconciliation Board Game is the result.
